As always, looking at your photos is like daydreaming and timetravelling, Dave.
This one reminded me strongly of the eerie landscape photography of Zurich-born Ernst Fischer:

Whee - I like his Land of Milk article - but not that photoset. The portraits are beautiful, but I suspect the animals were added later. Nice liminal zone stuff tho. I'd say I like 50% of his stuff...

Yeah, I'm not too sure about the photos to "Land of Milk" either - they seem pretty random to me.
However, I was rather referring to his "Trees of London" set.

Yeah, they're nice, i actually prefer his 'English Landscape' set tho.
