Thank you for the image. Currently writing a poem (in villanelle form) about white-lipped snails. So far, I don't think this variety (or any, for that matter) are very beneficial species. Are snails, in general, just pesky little war-heads?

You mean beneficial to humans? That's a very human-centric attitude. Things don't need to have value to humans to have a right to exist.
