Blather's Dave Walsh is well known for his writings in Blather magazine, The Irish Times, Fortean Times, and many other publications.

Walsh's writings have a wide remit; Blather deals with modern myths and hysteria, literature, metaphysics and humour; his writings for the The Irish Times concern the social effects of technology; he has written columns for Fortean Times about the Internet, millennial panic and artificial intelligence. He has edited a weekly newsletter for New Line Cinema; published technology and political pieces in Wired; and investigated the subjective nature of memory for Signum.
