Welcome to Globaleyes. In July 2003, Globaleyes was created on p45.net, alongside a range of other blogs.

The name 'Globaleyes' is taken from the song of the same name by The The.

After three years, it was decided to re-locate the blog to here, at blather.net - partially to spread the madness to a wider audience and partially because we like the colour scheme better. This second period of the blog began with the entry Thundering Myeloma.

That Would Be An Ecumenical Matter

Globaleyes is a playground. It's used for the rather random discussion of music, movies, sex, new media, politics, falling in love, (the occasional bit of) travel, blogging, nerd rage and a slightly nebulous concept called 'Downside Up' which is based on a Peter Gabriel song. Yep, it's that kind of blog.

Globaleyes uses a lot of music players and new media wankery. Broadband is probably a good idea.

Click a tag. Read an article. Sit back and listen to some music or watch a video. Chuck abuse at it. It's all yours.
