North: a new web log on

Clean air, ice maidens, wild viking hordes… “North” is a web log by Barry Kavanagh, who is now going to attempt to live in Norway!

Thousands of subscibers will know Barry Kavanagh as the man who interviewed Alan Moore and Thomas Truax, internationally publicized Drool and discovered that most of the internet is about Bobby Darin.

“North” is about the idea of being in Norway. It informs you about Norwegian culture, and updates you on his adventures.

Even if he never actually makes it to Norway, the subject of this blog will not change: it is about the idea of being there.
“North” will be updated once a week, each entry accompanied by a picture taken on his phone.

Barry Kavanagh writes fiction, and has made music, formerly with Dacianos and presently with the forthcoming "voodoo project".

  1. Bon voyage, Barry! I’ll read your adventures with interest. And I’m sure your inimitable Irish blather will melt those ice maidens!

  2. Good Luck. I wonder how long this Odyssey will last? I look forward to your observations.

  3. normally, i would delete a comment like ‘canuda’s’. but i decided to approve this one just to show the world what a cretinous, illiterate muppet he is.
learn how to spell something before you decide to use it as an insult, you twat.

  4. I like cold weather. I also notice that women from cold weather countries tend to have larger knockers.
