CommentsI had the pleasure of meeting Desmond Leslie when he organized a recital of Handels messiah at St. Thomas'Church in the 1970s.I found him to be a delight in his devotion to musical progression and clearly would regard him to be of the stature of Reich, Moog, and Walter "Nee" Wendy Carlos. A little known fact about Leslie was his invention of the rotating speaker for the hammond organ. A sound that was to become iconic in sixties rock music.
