Woman marries Dolphin

Seriously, has the whole world gone fucking mad?

It appears that a British woman, Sharon Tendler has, after a 15 year romance, wedded herself to an Israeli dolphin. That's right. An Israeli dolphin. As in, 'squeak squeak, can i kick that football between the posts for you and then jump around in an amusing fashion?' sort of dolphin. The kind that swims in the oceans and so on.

In a modest ceremony at Dolphin Reef in the southern Israeli port of Eilat, Tendler, a 41-year-old British citizen, apparently became the world's first person to "marry" a dolphin. Called 'Cindy'.

Dressed in a white dress, a veil and pink flowers in her hair, Tendler got down on one knee on the dock and gave Cindy a kiss. And a piece of herring.

Awwww. Herring. And, just in case you were worried, Sharon says: "It's not a perverted thing. I do love this dolphin. He's the love of my life...". Yep. This coming from a woman who just married what sounds like a girl dolphin.

Anyway, we here at Blather wish Sharon and Cindy (the dolphin) all the best on their Honeymoon.
