The Mohammed Cartoon Network

There's been uproar in Scandinavia over cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed in a Danish newspaper, reprinted in Norway. There's a demonstration by Moslems in Oslo on Saturday, 11 February. The Mohammed Image Archive however, points out that "an important point has been overlooked: despite the supposed Islamic prohibition against depicting Mohammed under any circumstances, hundreds of paintings, drawings and other images of Mohammed have been created over the centuries, with nary a word of complaint from the Muslim world. The recent cartoons in Jyllands-Posten are nothing new; it's just that no other images of Mohammed have ever been so widely publicized." The Mohammed Image Archive displays all these images, as well as the controversial cartoons. At the same site you can read about the conspiracy that's afoot: three allegedly Danish anti-Moslem cartoons have been doing the rounds in the Moslem world which were not among the cartoons printed in Denmark.

Not to mention that the exact same cartoons were published IN EGYPT in October with no Muslim response at all.

That is very interesting Jenney, i'll get that up on my own blog immediately, that seems completely absurd and just another way that those countries prove their double standards.

There's about to be a fifth protest in three week in London. Can't wait for there to violence along the River Thames.

Just because us Christians can depict our messenger using pictures and images doesn't mean that Islam allows the same. I think we all (Europe, America, Asia,etc.)know that this is very obsurd and when we get an idea to pop a picture of the most devine and humble MUHAMMED(pbuh, shouldn't we ask a priest or Islam upholder 1st or should we just tresspass their religion. Image if they had done the same thing to us....oh well thats another story...we would have gone to whereever it was done and, of course, caused total distruction. This topic has now been addressed to the entire planet and therefore should not happen again.. If another country (Egypt) decides to due the same, which i really really highly doubt it and know that it was a misunderstaning (jenny)then that is their problem the Muslims their can speak up if they want, but when Muslims in Denmark and other European countries want to speak out they can.
