Dave’s Off to Sea AGAIN

Right, time for me to vanish again. This time, I’m back out into the middle of the ocean, off the coast of New Zealand, on the Greenpeace flagship, the Rainbow Warrior.

The blog is here » – and I’ll be updating it every day.
Here’s a picture I took t’other night from the deck of the RW in Auckland. © Greenpeace/Dave Walsh

  1. Geez! Auckland never looked that good when I tried to photography it! Nice pic!

  2. Off topic question Daev.. but have you ever built a Curragh? Do you know of anyone in Dublin that has that I could email a quesiton to ? Cheers. Good luck with the Greenwork.

  3. Curragh racing is becoming a popular pastime here in the USA. http://www.geocities.com/annapolisirishrowing/
    My searching for a Curragh
builder has left me with the knowledge that the boats are built by a rare breed of folk that use no plans and construct the boat with anthropometric measurement. I am still going to keep looking though.
