I grew up in Ballyer in the early fifty's and I could see the Hell Fire Club from my bedroom window. That was before they built all the factories in the fields behind Landen Road. It was great to be able to see so far and you could just make out the Hell Fire Club. It was a real place to me as a kid even though I can't remember ever going up there.
