John Ioannidis, an epidemiologist at the University of Ioannina School of Medicine in Greece has produced research showing that most scientific research papers are wrong (no, I don’t know what that’s got to do with epidemiology either, he must have a lot of time on his hands). Hopefully he’ll soon be calculating how many scientists get their sums wrong and proving that 67.5% of all statistics are made up on the spot…
