Presidential candidate Kucinich says he saw a UFO

Hilary Clinton finally got clawed back (a little) by her rival candidates for Democratic nominee for President last night, with Barack Obama and John Edwards hitting her hard on issues like Iraq, Iran and NAFTA. It’s good to finally see Obama and Edwards taking the gloves off.
However, perhaps the most interesting aspect of the evening (for folks such as ourselves anyway) was the admission by candidate Dennis C. Kucinich of Ohio, that he had once seen a U.F.O. Yep. A U.F.O. This is a Fox News (yes, it has come to this) report covering the issue:

That said, this isn’t the first Democrat with an eye on the White House who had a UFO experience. Former President Jimmy Carter also had a run in with an odd object back in 1969. The full story can be found here.

  1. “Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich on Tuesday mockingly questioned President George W. Bush’s mental health for saying Iran’s nuclear ambitions might trigger World War III.”
“‘I seriously believe we have to start asking questions about his mental health,” Kucinich, a quirky, long-shot candidate in the race for his party’s presidential nomination in the November, 2008 election. “There’s something wrong. He does not seem to understand his words have real impact.'”
