Truth be told, I’d kind of given up on The Orb a few years back. I’ve always had a soft spot for them and often found myself revisiting UfOrb (which I still maintain is a work of genius) but I’d rather thought they’d become a tad generic and even infuriatingly obscure.
I am now thoroughly pleased to eat my words. A friend recently introduced my to their 2008 release The Dream and I simply can’t stop listening to it. Stunning stuff. So kids, say it loud and say it proud: “I am what I am!”
