There's Treasure Everywhere

Posted by damien

Stumbling around on Devilducky recently, I came across a clip from an 1970's Italian sci-fi flick starring a gloriously bequiffed Hasselhoff, having what looks suspiciously like a light-sabre fight with an animated robot. The woeful hairdos and pouting Italian damsels aside, take a look, and if you can stop laughing, have a listen. Not to the casio sound-effects, but rather the score in the background: it's a lost John Barry.

The movie was called 'Scontri Stellari Oltre la Terza Dimensione' (Starcrash Beyond the Third Dimension). It isn't the first atrocity that the great John Barry had a hand in: Howard the Duck anyone? Here's hoping I can track down a copy of the score. No luck on amazon, so suggestions are welcome.
