Minor earthquake detected off Wicklow coast

A minor earthquake measuring 2.6 on the Richter Scale has been detected just off the east coast of Ireland.

    “Tom Blake, experimental officer with the School
    of Cosmic Physics in Dublin, said a quake of less
    than three times that experienced early yesterday
    would cause serious damage to Dublin and coastal towns.”
