Now this is intriguing. For decades now, some scientists (risking the derision of their peers) have been intimating that there is probably a rather rational, sensible explanation for the great wealth of paranormal activity in our odd little world. And, I’ll be perfectly honest, it’s always been my suspicion that things which we now classify as ‘paranormal’ will, in the fullness of time and advancements in science and technology, be explained and understood in a logical, empirical fashion.
And now, it appears that somebody is actually having a shot at it: creating a grand, unified theory to explain just why things go bump in the night…
So, what is the Field and how does it work? Well, ehm…
The Field tells the story of a group of frontier scientists who discovered that the Zero Point Field – an ocean of subatomic vibrations in the space between things – connects everything in the universe, much like the Force in Star Wars.
The Field offers a radically new view of the way our world and our bodies work. The human mind and body are not distinct and separate from their environment, but a packet of pulsating energy constantly interacting with this vast energy sea. The Field creates a picture of an interconnected universe and a new scientific theory which makes sense of ‘supernatural’ phenomena.
So, I have two questions. First, can someone please show me this ‘field’ of which you speak? And second, how long before George Lucas sues?
Use the Field!
Enough on the star wars!
This sounds like something that Jung was raving on about years ago – a more ‘physical’ version of the Collective Unconcious
Then there’s Sheldrake’s
Morphic Resonance theory…
I think the Buddha figured out that everything is interconnected in such a way a long time ago…
yes, science is revisiting the realm of the mystics. knowledge we have had access to for centuries. until mad popes and kings (james) edited useful things out of popular books.
