Yaaarrr! Yorkshire medical terms

Ay UP! This is either one of the most elaborate fakes I’ve come across recently or another prime example of where British taxpayers’ cash is going down the bog (that’s Dublin-speak for toilet). Apparently, this is a PDF that the Yorkshire NHS have written explaining local slang for assorted medical items.

My personal favourite is: ‘Rotherham are at home’ for menstruating. Oh yes.

  1. Apparently a hard copy appeared in 2004. The online PDF version is more recent.
