3-D desktop? I want one. Now.

I use computers all day. And not a day goes by when I don’t roar great, Godless profanities at the screen as I curse the shoddy design of Windows and the panoply of crap, badly-designed software for it. One of my major bug-bears is the desktop. But, now some young upstarts have created a prototype for a 3-D desktop environment. And it’s nice!

  1. But if it’s more like a real desktop – where are the empty water bottles and coffee cups? Will there be a little stickey spot where your papers get stuck because you couldn’t resist the lure of a virtual raspberry turnover?
