Two hearts, two lungs, one dead body

This reads like the plot of a bad Dr. Who episode. The remains of Louis Selo, 55, from New Malden, south-west London, were flown home to London after Mr. Selo died in Dublin airport from a heartattack on 2nd August. Problem is, when his body was returned to the U.K., he appeared to have two hearts and two lungs….

A post-mortem examination was carried out at Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital, but when the body was flown home the extra organs were found.
The hospital has apologised and said disciplinary action could follow. No-one has been suspended.
“What happened should not have happened and we express our deep regret to those affected,” a spokesman said. “A high level inquiry is currently under way at the hospital, and we expect the finding of that to be available shortly.”

  1. Where’s the best place to hide a dead body? Inside another dead body! Another perfect murder methinks.
