In keeping with our ridiculously inconsistent semi-regular posting of obscure electronica and technohead videos, this week we bring you some rare Depeche Mode footage. The meta on the Youtube page says that this was filmed on the 26th of September 1981, in the Paradiso club Amsterdam. It’s interesting to note just how clearly Dave Gahan was influenced by Ian Curtis at this early stage in the development of his onstage persona.
Damien DeBarra was born in the late 20th century and grew up in Dublin, Ireland. He now lives in London, England where he shares a house with four laptops, three bikes and a large collection of chairs.
